The following books and artworks I will be [posting over the next few weeks come from the collection in Ireland. As I sit and wait for the birth of my first daughter I’m pulling out some of the collection from here.
This however is a new book on Caravaggio and is one of the giant format volumes that Taschen are putting out at the moment. It’s poster size pages explode the detail of the paintings sometimes to damaging effect, although there are some great reproductions and the layout is simple and beautiful.
