Tarzan of the Apes by Burne Hogarth

This was probably the first graphic novel I very bought. - I was around 8 years old and treasured its incredible colour and impact full layouts. So much so it’s survived in my collection in good conditionfor 36 years! I eventually met Burne in 1991 in London at a private garden party to celebrate his birthday. Even in his seventies he was still working and teaching anatomy at the School of Visual Arts in New York.
